France: OCDE | 32nd meeting of EVALNET – Development Evaluation Network of the DAC

The 32nd meeting of EvalNet - Evaluation Network of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the OECD, took place at the OECD Conference Centre in Paris on 26 and 27 of February, 2025.

Discussions focused on key topics, such as the need to adapt and contextualise evaluation quality standards, experiences in utilising artificial intelligence tools, approaches to local evaluation management, and strategies for identifying and assessing unintended results.

The participation in EVALNET meetings facilitates the experiences exchange, building capacity and collaborative engagement in alignment with the DAC - OECD standards and criteria.Therefore these efforts contribute to strengthening the Portuguese Development Cooperation quality and effectiveness, by promoting results-based management and fostering evidence-based decision-making, thereby enhancing accountability and the public policies improvement, as outlined in the Portuguese Cooperation Strategy 2030.
