The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) defines the new rules for the processing personal data and becomes mandatory to all public or private organisations throughout the European Union on 25 May 2018.
The protection of natural persons regarding the processing of their personal data is a fundamental right under the Constitution of the Portuguese Republic and the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union.
